I enjoy using Flash creatively to make cool looking games and applications. I'm still learning a lot of actionscript, so prefer to stick to simple formats rather than all out flashy action games.

Hey guys!

You may know me through the games I made, I am the author of the Core series of point and click adventure games.

I am currently in the process of creating a series of tutorials, aimed at teaching people who would like to learn how to create a basic escape game using flash.

Flash is a software development tool that is used to make almost all types of online animation and games these days, and learning how to make a simple espcape game can be a brilliant way introduction to it - I should know, I started making escape games just over 2 years ago to teach myself flash, and now I work full time as a flash developer for a media company in london!

Anyway, if you are interested, I have posted the first of my tutorials on my website at www.powerabuse.co.uk

You can download a 30 day trial of flash for free from the adobe website, which should be more than enough time to decide whether or not you enjoy using the software!

My latest game is finally complete, posting it here on Newgrounds for all you guys to see and enjoy! I put a lot of work into this and I hope you all have fun playing and exploring the game.

I have had awesome feedback from you guys over my last game, It is your comments and reviews about my work that keep my trying, so please be honest and give your feedback.

I am already planning my next game, although it may be a departure from the point and click genre (depending on how quickly I can teach myself the more advanced actionscript needed!).

Soul Core arrives on NG!

I'm currently working on a 4th game, a "final episode" to the previous three. It should tie up the whole series nicely, as well as start filling in the gaps with a bit of story.

This is the most ambitious game so far, I still have a lot of work to do, and it will probably be a month or more before I consider it complete. I had so many awesome comments about my previous games that I felt I really should try to tie up the series.

After this, who know what I will do, but I know I want to keep making games, so as long as I keep having cool ideas I will try to keep making cool games ;)

New "Core" Game in the works

Posted by Lazarou - November 19th, 2007

My third game in the core series has just been released - Prism core. I really hope you can find the time to have a play around with this, hopefully it will have something for everyone. It contains three ways to escape the strange facility you find yourself in, your path is chosen by which ever item you pick at the start. I hope many people who enjoy escape games would find this feature a welcome twist, it provides a new challenge in a familar environment.
This game is sponsored by ArcadeCabin.com, so please feel free to check them out if you have any time.
I havent started making my next game yet, I probably will make more, but I need a break till after christmas from the stress of deadlines :)
Please enjoy the game!

New "Core" game released!

Posted by Lazarou - November 4th, 2007

I am currently working on my third game, the sequal to Sphere Core, and Cube Core. Hopefully this game will feature something for everyone, I am trying to add lots of the fun stuff that make my games unique, It will feature hopefully some original and mind bending (but still fun and possible) puzzles, for all you point and click addicts.
This game is being sponsored by arcadecabin.com, so a big thanks to them for their enthusiasm about my games, I really look forwards to completing it and letting everyone play it :)

This screenshot is from the opening screen of the new game, it doesnt give too much away, but it gives you an idea of the visual style of the game.

The game should be ready by this time next week, all going well. I still have plenty to do though, so that may change according to how much time I get to spend on it. Anyways, thanks everyone for their comments about my last 2 games, the feedback has been absolutely amazing, really happy that people are loving my games, because I love making them.
